Oskaloosa Community School System
The Oskaloosa/Mahaska Community put children first by supporting the construction of a new elementary school facility which houses all District elementary students. This consitruction project remodeled and created an addition to the high school creating a four year high school and middle school system. Oskaloosa offers advance placement courses and dual credit courses at William Penn University. A construction trades program and vocational opportunities enhance the educational program and prepare young people for the vocation/technical careers.

North Mahaska Community School District
Over 500 children K-12 call North Mahaska their school. Located in New Sharon, North Mahaska offers 1 full time teacher per every 14 students. The District provides more of a personal touch to children’s education. One building houses all of the students with different wings for the elementary and high school aged students.
